Our farm is situated in Skeerpoort, a village at the foot of the majestic Magaliesberg mountains and we are open six days a week from 8h00 to 17h00. We are closed on Tuesdays. We have a restaurant and full function facilities for weddings, family outings, corporate functions, team building and any kind of festive occasion. Tailor made proposals can be arranged like lunches for tour groups, picnics and wine tasting. Besides our restaurant we can offer you a lovely relaxing picnic on the banks of the Skeerpoort river. The picnic hampers must be booked at least a day in advance. Any quantity of cheese can be bought at the Farm Shop, as well as a selection of wine, preserves, souvenirs, a range of Dutch favorites, sweets, odds and ends. Bookings are essential.

While the well-known Fountains needs no introduction, few people realise that this recreational site was proclaimed as a nature reserve by President Paul Kruger on 1 February 1895 - making it the oldest nature reserve on the African continent. In the region of the two natural springs, which supply water to Tshwane residents, are various recreational facilities, such as a well-equipped caravan park. In the shade of large witstinkhout trees, alongside the Apies River and close to the swimming pool, shelters (dance floors), children's play park and the historical ruins of the house of Lucas Cornelius Bronkhorst, the brei facilities are located. The Denneboom Kiosk and the Fountains Deck Pub and Grill are within walking distance of this site. To round off your day of fun, take a ride on the miniature train through the valley.

Leentjiesklip is a portion of Wilderness Beach and is situated at the far western corner of Wilderness beach. The Wilderness Beach itself stretches from Kleinkrans to the mouth of the Keimans River estuary. Leentjiesklip and Leentjiesklip Beach are easily accessed from the N2. From Wilderness Village, turn into Station Road and again right into Sands Road. When you reach the beach you will find limited parking, clean ablutions facilities, sand-off foot shower and a brei (barbeque) and picnic area. The Leentjiesklip area is popular with for sunbathing, fishing, whale watching, birding and it also serves as a landing strip for hang-gliders and para-gliders. Fishermen come to this beach for a variety of fish species found in the area. More commonly caught are kabeljou, blactail, steenbrass, galjoen, mullet elf (shad) and the occasional spotted grunter.

Resting in a Valley this picnic site offers beautiful scenery, tranquility and some forest exploring for the family. There is an easy, short 450m walk in the forest beneath the huge tree ferns and small trickling streams. The forest floor path can be slippery so do be careful when walking over tree roots and logs. Another a slightly more strenuous walk takes visitors to the incredibly beautiful Spitzkop viewpoint overlooking the Knysna Heads. Bokkie Park in East Rand, Gauteng is a great place to bring the family for a fun filled day out. Children will enjoy the playground and will love the petting farm. Activities at the farm allow you to stroke and feed the animals or even milk the cows. Bunny rabbits roam free through the park and are always a highlight for the little ones. Camel and pony rides are also available at the weekends. There is a dam at the park which is home to many water fowl and is a great place to sit alongside whilst taking in the stunning nature around you. Bring along a picnic or make use of the brei facilities in the park. If you forgot to bring lunch you can visit the kiosk for a few tasty snacks. Once a month, on a Saturday, there is a craft market held in the park with a variety of art and craft stalls offering a number of interesting items. A tea garden is also set up on these days where you can sit and relax while the kids play.
