I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service I received regarding my Duraware speaker yesterday 08/09/2023. I previously had batteries replaced for another speaker and my gate remote, each at the cost of R295. Upon bringing in my Duraware speaker for a battery replacement, I was informed that the technician was unavailable and that I would be contacted later. The subsequent call, however, didn't come until the next day with a quote of R980. When I inquired about the significant price discrepancy, I was told it was due to the Duraware speaker battery not being easily accessible. I find this price to be excessive, especially considering the speaker was functioning well, only losing charge during Loadshedding. Regrettably, when I communicated my unwillingness to pay the inflated price, the company refused to return my speaker.
