Addiction and Wellness counselor I am a registered addiction counselor helping anyone dealing with any form of addiction. I myself am an addict in remission from my addictions. By using the 12 step program of recovery I have been free from active addiction for 38 years. Using the knowledge, experience (active and in remission), 10 years as an addiction lay-counselor and now, addiction counseling practitioner, I counsel or coach anyone caught in the grip of addiction and / or the families of an addict. The foundation of my counseling is a well-accepted program of recovery that is based on the 12 step program. Millions of recovering addicts worldwide, regardless of the type of addiction, utilise the 12 step program to maintain remission longevity from the disease of addiction.

Stellenbosch Care helps individuals suffering from alcohol and drug dependency as well as other addictive behaviour. There are different types of help available. Some clients need one-on-one counselling and may be experimenting or abusing a substance where as others may be fully dependent on a substance. For clients who are dependent on substances there is an intensive out-patient program they can attend for a minimum of twelve weeks. There is also help available for family members living with a person who is abusing alcohol or drugs. Help is available for sex, love, gaming, food and gambling addiction.
