QASA is a co-ordinating, policy-making, governing and supporting organisation. The Association strives to prevent spinal cord injury, as well as protect and promote the interests of people with mobility impairments by formulating a national policy and strategy, to develop and ensure the full potential and quality of their lives.

The Gauteng Branch of EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA was established in 1987. It is situated in Springs on the East Rand. It provides holistic services to people with epilepsy and other disabilities throughout the province. Apart from our support and developmental services to persons with epilepsy, we also provide : *Presentations on Epilepsy to Businesses, Government, Schools & other interested groups *Residential Care Centres *Protective Workshops *Social Development / Self-Help & Support Groups

The National Office of Epilepsy South Africa, which is located in JHB, is at the helm of the organisation which comprises six branches. The National Office is responsible for providing strategic leadership, advancing service excellence, coordinating effective service delivery as well as ensuring sound management and financial practices.
