The Swiss Rifle Club Cape Town was established in 1949 and has just celebrated its 70th anniversary. We are dedicated to keeping up the Swiss tradition of target shooting, using ordinance rifles (Schmidt-Rubin based carbine K-31 and the renowned SIG Stgw-57 both in calibre 7. 5x55 (Swiss) . We are a SAPS Accredited Sports Shooting Organization under FCA 60 / 2000 No. 1300070 and are AFFILIATED TO THE SWISS SHOOTING FEDERATION (SCHWEIZER SCHIESSSPORTVERBAND - SSV) . We compete about 15 times per annum at the SA Navy's Klawer Valley range above Simon's Town, or at the 'Good Hope' range near Atlantis.
