    Pinetown, South Africa
Sizanani is a sewing and clothing design centre situated in central Pinetown. Sewing courses are offered as full-time courses on weekdays or part-time courses on Saturday mornings (or part-time during the week) . Students do not need to have any formal education to be able to learn a sewing skill, though being able to read, write and have basic mathematical skills is an advantage. The first year course covers basic sewing, learning how to draft simple patterns, sewing a skirt, shirt, dress and zip-up jacket. Students have the option to continue for a second year course and this course covers more advance sewing and pattern making skills including corsets, jeans / trousers, men's formal shirts, jackets and waistcoats. Fees are payable for the course, but they are highly subsidized. Follow or Like our Facebook PAGE for up-to-date happenings at the centre - Sizanani, Academy of sewing and design
