Private Garden & Bead Museum

Durban, South Africa
Merriwinkle estate in Kloof is the home of Peter Amm, architect, landscaper and collector. It has one of the most beautiful private gardens in Durban. Amm has converted a building on the property into a private bead museum with a superb collection of African beadwork and traditional artifacts. He is in the process of developing a private sculptured garden featuring the work of South African artists. Across the road is the gorge garden grove nursery.
