Underhill Farm is an eco-friendly guest house dedicated to sustainable living by example through upcycling, recycling, and reusing everything possible. The farm itself is a green oasis nestled in the Botrivier Valley between two streams and surrounded by apple and wine farms. A poplar forest covers the stream banks and ancient oak trees provide shade along the other river bank. There are about 250 olive trees, a fruit orchid as well as a vegetable garden, helping to supply fruit and vegetables to guests and the local community. Everything you see was created with resources made on farm or built using materials that would have otherwise been thrown away by others. It is our passion to offer an educational space for our guests to learn about the hidden luxury in an eco-friendly lifestyle. And if you're worried about the drive, the best part is that Underhill is less than 100km from Cape Town but feels a world apart; making it an ideal private getaway to escape and relax even for
