Bokomo Foods is a key player in various segments in the food industry with a product range of breakfast cereals, dried fruits and vegetables, baking aids and desserts, and biscuits.

In 2003 a group of 35 Swartland Farmers played with the idea of supplying their own wheat to their own Milling Company, and to manufacture flour to the local market. These thoughts soon became a reality and in 2005 the Company was born - at that stage the Company was known as Oude Tol Meulens - named after the milling equipment that was bought over from the original Stone Mill that was used in the 1960's near Tulbagh . A Roller Mill and a Stone Mill was erected in Riebeek West.
