The Percheron Horse Breeders Society of South Africa is the only legitimate Breeders Society of Percheron horses in South Africa. Our Society is affiliated with Studbook and operates within the framework of our constitution, as accepted and approved by the Registrar of Animal Improvement in South Africa. Prospective buyers of Percheron horses must ensure that the animals they purchase are registered with our Society. Pure bred animals are not necessarily eligible for registration in the Studbook of the Percheron Society of SA.
