PBD established the Meyerton-Dolomite operation in 1995 to distribute dolomitic agricultural lime from the Glen Douglas mine into Gauteng, the Free-State and parts of the North-West. The dolomite is obtained as part of the process to produce aggregate that is mined, crushed and washed. The sludge from the washing process is collected which is the agricultural dolomite. In order to obtain the final product, the sludge is dried, crushed and screened to the required size.
