Mahikeng Lodge is an "e Superior Approved" Lodge situated only 55 minutes from Fourways, Johannesburg. Inspired by the majestic rock face in the game park, Mahikeng means 'The Place of the Rock' is an intimate hideaway nestled in the hills of the Magalies Meander in Magaliesburg. With only 4 exclusive lodges, Mahikeng Lodge promises a comfortable, private and relaxing stay. Mahikeng is home to a wide variety of game, an abundance of bird-life that includes: Vultures, Eagles, Secretary birds and many more species as well as our two new family members, The four Lodges are self-catering.

The Dream Lodge consists of two cottages, 2 km apart and each sleeping two people, named Gecko and Agama. Agama is on a hilltop with a magnificent view of the Magalies Mountains, but can only be reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle. We do deliver guests there if they prefer. Neither cottage has electricity. Gecko has a gas geyser and fireplace and Agama has solar heated water and a wood-burning fireplace. Brass bed, crisp white linen and 25 candles placed in niches around the room. There is a swimming pool at the main house which guests are invited to use.

Pretty Place stands on a thousand acres nestled amongst hills, adjoining a big 5 game farm. Charming restored 5 bedroom farm house sleeps 12. Peaceful and private, with pool and brei / boma area. Ideal for family or small company gatherings. Game drives and elephant encounters may be arranged with adjoining game farm
