Netcare Linkwood Hospital is a dedicated and exclusive mother and baby facility. The staff and midwives at our facility are passionate about the birthing of babies and the development of families. Our 20-bed maternity unit has 18 private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a labour suite, and we offer midwife services. Mothers-to-be are welcome to choose who they would like to be present to support them during birth. Partners may room in with in the private room, at an additional charge. Newborns room in with their mothers or parents from birth to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. Siblings are also welcome and may sleep over, but must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Our state-of-the-art neonatal ICU combines the best in nursing care with the latest medical technology. The unit has 14 beds with a number of paediatricians in attendance.
