Mind over Maths has offered personalised Maths support for Grades 3 - 12 in the southern suburbs of Cape Town since 2005. We offer tuition tailored to the following: CAPS, IEB, NSC, Cambridge, NBT preparation and SAT preparation. Our aim is to help learners reach their potential in an environment far removed from the average classroom. We've had many years' experience teaching students with special needs (remedial difficulties, ADD, ADHD) and our approach works for them as we interact with and check up on them constantly to make sure they're staying on track. We work at a pace that they're comfortable with and adapt our teaching methods accordingly. There isn't the limitation of one set programme that has to work for every student.

I did my AS Level for Matric in 2020. As I was the second group doing the AS Level it was difficult to find a tutor to assist. Thus I realised other people must have the same issue and since I did the curriculum myself I knew the very people who could provide the tutoring as well. I started my tutoring company initially to specifically assist Cambridge and IEB students and have since spread into the National curriculum and special needs. I have many qualified tutors ready to assist students from grade 1 to 12 on all curriculums and have a few tutors to assist with Adult English.
