Made a 100k detour to visit this morning. Open according to their web site Sat morning 9 to 12. Closed. Not a soul in sight. Sign outside even said open 9 to 1. We were there at 10.30.

This little museum is jam packed with exhibits and memorabilia all with extensive notes and explanations in English, Afrikaans and Zulu. Set aside at least an hour.

Took my granddaughters out for the afternoon ...they really enjoyed the history lesson . Everything is laid out in such a easy to follow and good flowing style, it was clean and neat.

Great small museum dedicated to the events that happened in Ladysmith during the Boer War. Such an important part of history and well told in the museum pieces.
