The Heart of Dairy Goodness. Ladismith Cheese is situated in the picturesque town of Ladismith in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Production was started with 15 000 liters of milk per day and initially only Gouda and Cheddar were manufactured. Production has since increased and Gouda, Cheddar, Edam, Matured Cheddar, Mozzarella and Green Pepper Cheddar are now manufactured. A creamy semi-hard cheese named Ladismither has been very well received in the market, as confirmed by several national and international awards.
