Kwa Gijima Express was established in September 1976 as an express freight service operating between Durban and Empangeni at the beginning of Richards Bay's development. From those early days we have been based in Empangeni, the owners Patrick and David Fabricius born and bred Zululanders who had identified a need for daily express services operating between the two major ports. Kwagijima has branches in Johannesburg, Durban, Empangeni and Richards Bay, in locations selected for their close proximity to airports, developing industrial areas and for easy access to freeways. The terminals in each centre have been chosen for their suitability to freight industry. The Durban and Johannesburg terminals were purposely designed and built to our specifications to incorporate the required features of an administrations centre and freight warehouse.
