    Wines and Guest Cottages situated 7 km from Franschhoek village, in the heart of the winelands. Our guests have a choice of five self-catering cottages; two charming riverside cottages (both 2 bedroom), one Scandi style vineyard cottage (1 bedroom), and two contemporary mountain view cottages (both 1 bedroom) . All of our cottages are fully equipped and tastefully furnished with open plan living and kitchen areas, as well as private verandahs / decks. We make a boutique range of white, red and rosé wines. Only a fraction of our grapes are bottled under the La Chataigne brand, making a total of + -15, 000 bottles each year. Due to our small nature we are able to be selective and hands on in our winemaking.
