This is South Africa .. usually you can depend on getting excellent meat of almost any kind. Ribs were tough, lamb chops were overcooked and even the boerewors was pretty bland. Chicken was nice.

Good customer service experienced here, but the order came as I have become accustomed to at Spur, after 35 minutes, which the waiter claimed it was due to each menu order being flame-grilled fresh...

An improvement in the turnaround time with regards to orders would be appreciated. I felt like I was waiting for my order to be delivered, I even finished my drink. Not a place for a quick bite, or...

Although this is a chain, what they do they do extremely well. Fabulous Starks cooked exactly as we requested, friendly staff, not the greatest surroundings/decor etc.

It was a good experience. The food was good and the waiter was extremely courteous, very patient with us and genuinely willing to assist. The pork ribs were on point and so were their cocktail

Great food, great service, I hope the Spur franchise stays around for many many years to come. Spur is a taste for life!

Spur's food quality seems to have deteriorated over the last few years, while their prices have risen. The burgers are OK and the chips are often sub-par. However, it is a cheap and cheerful meal...
