Fun 2 Code is an online learning platform designed for teaching children and teenagers to learn to code. We firmly believe MIT's Professor of Learning Research, Mitch Resnick's statement that "Learning through Play" is one of the best ways to teach children to code. Our curriculum is "gamified". Children and teenagers love to immerse themselves in the challenges provided. Our students are guided, by an online teacher "in real-time" through a private zoom meeting ID. Even though they are guided, our students are encouraged to solve the challenges on their own. There are different curriculums to choose from. We encourage a variety of coding languages, one of the core languages we teach is Python. Learning to code from a very young age is possible, so we encourage children as young as five to apply. You are never too young or too old to learn! The curriculum chosen will depend on the student's interests, age, and current coding knowledge.
