Fortabu Construction is certified B-BBEE Company. It as a family owned company that formalised its activities early in 2014 but has been working in the construction industry for the last 20 years. In the past couple of years we have been focusing on new buildings (domestic & commercial) & alterations. Because, we are small we can focus on getting your work done making sure that architectural and engineering details are followed. We are based in Cape Town but we work where you are / regionally / nationally. Fortabu Constructions' workforce consist of experienced bricklayers, plasterers and experienced laborers. We work with you and your architect to ensure you dream is realized. Our track record spans over 20 years and should you need references we will send it to you. We find ourselves building up market houses in areas like Camps Bay, Claremont, Hout Bay, Constantia and Robertson, Silverstrand Golf Estate. Negative: Not Professional, Not Good Quality, Not Good Value.
Would give these guys zero star if possible. Working with them was a total disaster. Walls out of square, walls out of plumb (as much as 65mm on 2.7 meter internal wall) No joints in the plaster work when plaster over concrete and brick work. House is full of leaks less than a year later and full of huge cracks where the joints should have been put in. Build ignored all the recommendations from the engineer. Total disaster and its cost me 100 of thousands to get someone else in to fix. Heard another story on these guys is that they built a customers house is the wrong position on the plot at a golf estate. Customer ended chasing them away
