Epilepsy South Africa Mpumalanga-Limpopo Branch operates in the rural and deep-rural areas of Mpumalanga and Limpopo. We offer a holistic service to people with epilepsy and related disabilities in several programmes. OUR SERVICES : *Community Intervention: Offices in Dullstroom, Delmas, Elukwatini and Siyabuswa. This service supports indiviuals with epilepsy in their communities through self-help groups, stimulation groups, support groups and an awareness and advocacy programme. *Two residential centres: Dullstroom and Elandsdoorn, close to Grobblersdal. Residential services for people with epilepsy and related disabilities who can no longer cope in their own communities. Emphasis is placed on the development of the potential of the individual in a multi-disciplinary system *Three workshops: Dullstroom, Elandsdoorn and Siyabuswa. Established in 1966, Multiple Sclerosis South Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of individuals living with multiple sclerosis (MS) . Its mission is to ensure that people affected by MS receive recognition, improve access to treatment, support, and enhanced quality of life. The organization originated from a pressing need following the emergence of the first recorded cases of MS in the Eastern Cape, under the guidance of Dr. Geoffrey Dean. In August 1963, the society was finally registered on July 6, 1966. September 3, 1967. MSSA is actively involved in policy making and setting SA guidelines for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
