African Reptiles & Venom with it's founder Mike Perry presents snake related training. Our courses which are FGASA endorsed entails Snake Awareness, Snake Identification, Medical Snakebite treatment and First Aid for snakebite. Our practical courses are Venomous snake handling as well as Black Mamba handling. We do educational talks and demonstrations on snakes and reptiles. We travel to remote mining sites to train environmental safety and health officers on snake safety. Mike Perry provides medical snakebite treatment courses to doctors and other medical personnel. Our course is registered with Wits university and people receive 5 CPD points for the training. We supply venom to the antivenom unit in SA for production of snake antivenom. We have a snake farm in Gauteng with 600 venomous snakes which we use for training and venom extraction. We also do snake removal from premises, so if you find a snake please give us a call to arrange removal for you.
