St Joseph's Home (SJH) for Chronically Ill Children is a registered non-profit organisation which has been a pioneer in the field of paediatric intermediate health care in South Africa. We provide free transitional care for chronically ill children from disadvantaged families, from hospital to home through a holistic health and wellness programme. Patients are referred to St Joseph's from State Hospitals to continue with post-acute, restorative, palliative and rehabilitative care.

Rooms include: luxurious interiors; queen sized beds; a lounge area furnished with sofas and a flat-screen television; and are en-suite. The conference room includes a dining and entertainment area with large wooden decks, perfect for admiring the changing scenery of the breath taking view of Pretoria.

The Children's Hospital Trust is an independent non-profit organization established in 1994 to raise funds to support specific projects and programmes to help advance child healthcare through the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital - the first stand-alone tertiary hospital, exclusively for children, in sub-Saharan Africa. The Trust raises funds for the upgrade and expansion of the Hospital's buildings, the purchase of state-of-the-art medical equipment, new medical treatment programmes and funds the training of medical professionals across Africa - ensuring that the Hospital not only retains its world-class stature, but is able to continue providing life-changing and life-saving care for children.
