I met Dr Opolot during the first wave of COVID. Many were dying, hospitals were over capacity and understaffed. My prognosis was poor. Dr Opolot's strong, calm voice coming up the passage of Milpark ICU became the highlight of my day, and the delight of all nursing staff.
