Masincedane Community Service was founded in 1992 as a concerned response to the needs of the people living in the Waterkloof squatter camp, Somerset West. The initial needs as identified, included employable skills training and health services. Masincedane training programmes include: Training in accommodation services and Food Preparation, a comprehensive home care service and training, a private employment agency registered with the Department of Labour

Licensed annually by Department of Health to provide accredited clinical psychiatric care, detoxification in the licensed detox unit and correct medical care for all addiction types. Also licensed by Department of Social Development for accredited inpatient substance rehabilitation. By operating as a legal facility we hold two BHF practice numbers to allow medical aids to pay for primary and secondary care treatment. We have a 20 year reputation for our excellent clinical outcomes both internationally and nationally. Persons flying in to Cape Town airport are transferred to an from the clinic. Our treatment programs are managed by 5 psychiatrists, 3 psychologists, 2 occupational therapists, a social worker, psychiatric nurses and addiction Counsellor's.
