The ever-increasing complexity of engineered and natural systems that have become part of our lives requires a multidisciplinary approach in which computational science is key for the modelling, simulation and optimisation needed to fully understand research problems. CSIR Modelling and Digital Science develops capabilities in computational science applied in all CSIR research focus areas. The unit has strong capabilities in information security, mathematical modelling and mobile intelligent autonomous systems.
