In 1935, Morris Mervis established his first store in the heart of Johannesburg CBD. After many years of apprenticeship in Europe, Morris quickly became known as Johannesburg's premier supplier of fine quality jewellery and watches. We cater for the latest trendy and classic collections as a result of us travelling internationally to jewellery and watch fairs. However, we support our local jewellery industry. Furthermore, should our clients have newer and bespoke jewellery requests, we also manufacture locally. Three generations later, Morris's legacy is alive and well. Mervis Brothers Jewellers is currently being operated by Evan Mervis and his father, Ken Mervis.
