EDDIES REMOVALS packed our furniture on behalf of BAYLEY WORLDWIDE REMOVALS in Johannesburg during December 20** for future overseas shipping, they then moved it to the premises they share with BAYLEY WORLDWIDE in Kew where BAYLEY kept it in paid storage for just over 4 years. When our furniture arrived in Greece in February 2022, Bayley’s local agents found various pieces of our solid wooden furniture to be damaged, like legs broken off and bases cracked and broken etc. and some boxes with especially important and sentimental content was missing. When it was offloaded at our house, mirrors and numerous other glassware items were found to be broken as well. Their local agents sent BAYLEY a comprehensive report of the damages with supporting photographs but now, after a month, BAYLEY has not yet responded. I also made numerous telephone calls to Liam, one of the owners, to enquire about the missing boxes. He promised he will investigate but simply never came back to me.
