H. F. S. Hydraulics was founded by Brian White as "Hydraulic and Farming Supplies" in 1979, and has since evolved into one of the largest hydraulic and engineering companies in Kwa-Zulu Natal. In 1993, they underwent a rebrand, and were from that day on, known as "HFS Hydraulics". The group currently has two Hose and Fitting Departments. HCA Hydraulics was founded in 1995 as a Repair Division of HFS Hydraulics. This organisation is extensively involved in repairing Materials Handling Machinery - looking more specifically at repairing Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps and Motors. Together these three companies are the Hydgroup.
