Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd was formed in 2001 but has been in existence in one form or another for the past 140 years. The group collects 22 billion litres of milk each year to produce more than 2 million tonnes of dairy ingredients. Fonterra is the world's largest dairy exporter supplying dairy products & ingredients to 140 countries across the globe. In 2005 Clover S. A Pty Ltd and Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited, combined forces in a joint venture establishing Clover Fonterra Ingredients (CFI) . Ten successful years later, Clover Fonterra Ingredients still distributes Fonterra products throughout South Africa and Clover Products throughout South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa.
