Negative: Not Responsive.
Makro refuses to refund on a non-delivery. I have been waiting for my refund on an order that never arrived since August. It is now October. I have phoned about 10 times, if not more, and each time I was told that it 'is being escalated'. My emails (of which I have sent about 20) are ignored, and on Twitter I keep getting the same response: 'it is pending' with the same wording each. At this point I feel as if this is theft on Makro's part. Does anyone know what legal avenues I can follow?

I have only had good service from Makro. Occassionally a suplier is out of stock but on the whole they deliver timeously.

What an absolute circus and certainly the last time I will ever order online with Makro again. Sadly this happens on every single online order but this one takes the cake. Ordered a fridge, paid and specified collection from Crown Mines, providing ID of the person who would be collecting. I subsequently receive an update stating that store has changed to Woodmead. I email commercialonline querying this - no response. The next day status changes to delivery by courier. I email commercialonline - again no response. I decide to contact the call centre who confirm it is awaiting the Makro courier despite my explicit request for collection at Crown Mines. Luckily I ask which store only to be told it's in Mbombela!! Really Makro your online Customer experience is below sub-standard. Writing this whilst on the line with the call centre who are escalating. Who knows what the outcome will be? Rating will still stay at 1 star irrespective.
