I have been with ABSA for over 30 years. I made a loan for my grandson of R50,000 and requested that the repayment date be changed from the 25th to the 27th of each month due to his salary payment date. I have phoned, mailed (ab**@ab**.co.za) may as well delete their mail address as they never reply. I have been shoved from pillar to post, told I have to reapply for the date to be changed as due to Technical Error on the side of Absa, I could not approve the change! I spent more than R150 airtime to try get this done, to no avail. Maybe I need to change my Bank as many of the staff at Absa do not seem to know what is going on. Part of my conversation yesterday: Oh no you have to reapply I will put you through to that department. That department: Oh no, I cannot help you I will transfer you to (the department that just put me through to this department)!!! When I tried to explain that they has just transfered me to her: Oh no I cannot help. Plus I got cut off 3 times
