Netcare Pholoso Hospital opened in September 2015 in Polokwane. The ultra-modern, environmentally sustainable facility was developed by Netcare in partnership with Pholoso Hospital Group. The facility includes, amongst other: a 30-bed paediatric ward; a 27-bed maternity unit; an 18-bed intensive care and high care unit; a 14-bed neonatal intensive care unit; two 34-bed surgical wards; a 35-bed medical ward; an 8-bed general ward; a cardiac catheterisation laboratory; 6 theatres, including one with laminar flow technology, one equipped with digital technology, and a dedicated caesarean theatre. It also has state-of-the-art endoscopic units for scope procedures.
