It was a short stay since we were on a tour but it is well worth the effort as Knysna Heads viewpoint offers magnificent views over Knysna River estuary and the Indian Ocean.

Absolutely lovely area to visit. Makes superb photos. Close to nature. And there is lots to do as well with some great restaurants in the area and places to see. You rest your sole here.

While not exactly a place you can safely swim, the Knysna Heads are an impressive place to visit, complete with crashing waves and great bird life.

The inlet with its blue water and multi-hued rocks are breathtakingly beautiful. You can follow a path along the water and then drive to the top of the Heads for amazing vistas among beautiful homes.
