Doornkloof Nature Reserve

Doornkloof Nature Reserve is situated on the south-eastern banks of the Vanderkloof Dam. The 9388-hectare reserve boasts kudu, eland, brown hyena, reedbuck, steenbok, duiker, bat-eared fox, erdvark and erdwolf. A myriad of bird species can be observed here. 10 km of the Seekoei River flows through the reserve. There are several hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and an overnight hut available.
