The Mission of Child Welfare South Africa is to promote, protect and enhance the safety, well-being and healthy development of children. It does this in partnership with its member organisations, associates, government and other organisations at local, provincial, national and international levels. Representative of all the people of South Africa, it capacitates its affiliate membership to serve the children, families and communities.

iKhaya LikaBaba is a children's home located in Zululand just South of Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. iKhaya was founded as a home for abandoned babies but has transitioned to be a children's home with a vision to see our children grow to maturity physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Being located among farmlands on the campus of Solid Ground Church, iKhaya is blessed with wonderful and secure gardens for the children to play. They also have access to the church's facilities including an indoor sports centre. As part of their spiritual and emotional growth the children attend church on Sundays. Solid Ground has a dynamic Children's Church program for children from 3 years and older.
