She is a highly qualified Registered Nurse with, General, Midwifery, Psychiatry, Community Health, and Education and has been a Nursing Tutor, lecturing psychiatry at Lentegeur College for 10 years. She was a manager at nursing homes both locally and abroad in the UK. E. g. the GH Starke Nursing Home in Cape Town, and also Fairfield Manor in Broadstairs and Lodore Nursing Home in London.
