Negative: Not Professional, Not Responsive.
It is frustrating and dangerous to travel on the Pinetown roads between Gillets and Pinetown. This will include the areas in-between. The taxi drivers are dangerous on these routes. Stopping in areas that are not assigned for picking up or dropping off should never be used as a rank, it is dangerous behaviour. When a Taxi driver weaves in and out of traffic and stop where they chose it degrades the trust of people and the function of the road rules, it dilutes the authority road signs have and they disregard other users on the road. This endangers them, their passengers and the public. Some civility needs to be instilled in the taxi drivers allocated this route. They behave like uneducated bullies and thust themselves (unwantedly) into the face of road users. In particular Pioneer bridge Kloof, the circle at the Spar in Kloof and the off ramp at the SPCA in Kloof. There is a taxi stop area for the purpose of picking up and dropping off not 50 meters away.
