The spirit of Ubuntu is expressed in Xhosa as "Umntu ngumntu ngabanye abantu" in English as "people are people through other people. " "I am human because I belong to the human community and I view and treat others accordingly. " In fact it is an African word for a universal concept which encompasses respect, helpfulness, sharing, caring, trust and unselfishness. UBUNTU is one of the things that you recognize when you experience it. Here at Epilepsy SA - Free State & North West we take the spirit of UBUNTU seriously and I trust all who come into contact with us, experience it.
