Negative: Not Good Quality.

Years ago when Cotton On was new in South Africa, I was impressed by its good quality and affordable prices. However, recently, there has been a spike up in terms of prices and decline in quality. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about its absurd prices and poor quality recently. A lot of products now are so thin in material and stretches easily. I think the prices now cater to wealthier people. I recently bought a jumper as a birthday treat and was not satisfied by the quality at all. Originally priced at R550 and bought for R300, I still thought it was not worth the price. The jumper felt so thin and cheap. It purposely had tears on the jumper which I was not aware of because the website had not made it clear and the pictures did not even show it clearly. I had to see it in person before I could finally spot where it was on the website. Very misleading in my opinion. Although quite a number of their products are good quality and in-style, some are just so disappointing.
