Mansfield Game Reserve

The 3-star Mansfield Game Reserve is situated along the Kowie River, approximately 11 kilometres from Port Alfred. The vegetation and animal life are typical of Eastern Cape bushveld. The indigenous aloe grows in abundance on the farm. The reserve is also popular with day visitors. For a small fee, enjoy a self-guided game drive or brei at one of the designated picnic spots near the swimming pool.

    Secluded and private campsites tucked into the indigenous coastal bush along the Woody Cape beaches of the Sunshine Coast . The Campsites are 14km from Alexandria and 30km West of Kenton on Sea . The beach adjacent to the Campsites form part of the marine reserve of Addo Elephant National Park, encompassing Bird Island and the Woody-Cape Dunefields ( 2nd largest shifting dunefields in S. Hemisphere ) . Nearby is the beautiful and well preserved Alexandria Forest. The campsites are part of a working dairy farm, hence visitors are requested to be tolerant of livestock and farming activities. Children are welcome to experience a functioning dairy operation. The campsites are easily accessible for off-road caravans, however may be more challenging for the " older conventional top heavy " caravans due to the sloping nature of the terrain.
