Our Materials handling division manufactures and distributes a full range of products for moving and rotating machinery. Our Cable division offers a comprehensive range of flexible round and flat cable for mining. industrial and agricultural applications. Ampco and Proof are the manufacturing divisions within the Powermite group producing industrial and mining connectors for over 20 years.

POWERMITE was established in the late '60's with the express purpose of serving the South African market, which was increasingly developed in the material handling field. With a staff complement of four, the Company hired premises on the West Rand from a Mining House and remained there for five to six years.
